Netflix Selects Perfect Actor for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Third Season

Baroque Works is poised to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the true confrontation won’t unfold until the third season, and a adored, popular member has now been chosen.

Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bentham. Bon Clay possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The actor, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that character re-envisioned as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action show, as in the initial comic and anime.

This performer joins multiple fresh additions set to bring the organization to reality, featuring head Mr. 0, played by Joe Manganiello, an emerging star as a key member, and a familiar face, who also joins the cast as the ruler of the fictional land.

Though the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. With season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden storyline, this represents a significant shift in the timing of their first appearance, one that could signal additional alterations to the plot development.

Their mix of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the role. In addition to their recent voice performance in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for penning and acting in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, showcasing the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.

The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is due to premiere for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
